Session One:  June 15

Third and Fourth Grade Camp

For campers finishing the 3rd and 4th grades.

A first opportunity  for a whole week of camp.  You can do almost anything now, and there are so many new friends to meet and things for you to do.  There are new strokes to learn in the water and new paddling techniques to learn in the canoe.  New desserts to cook over the fire and new art projects to make in the studio.  New salamanders and wildflowers to identify along new trails to follow to new destinations.  New songs to sing in the dining hall or by the fire and new Bible verses to read at the Point and to study in your cabin.  What makes camp one of the best places to try something new?  Your good friends will be there trying them too!

Sailing Camp:

For campers finishing 5th through 9th grades.

Lake Michigamme is a wonderful body of water to see the beauty of God's world and be part of it, learning on the water what wind, water, and steady hands can do.  Also, campers will work together to select a hiking destination that will likely require both canoeing and backpacking to explore.  Registration may have a limited number.

Session Three:  July 6

Kindergarten through Second Grade Camp

For campers finishing Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade.

Camp is a wonderful place to learn about being away from home, being outdoors, finding loving adults other than parents or teachers, sleeping in cabins, eating in a dining hall, learning new songs and becoming part of a community that is different from any other.  These few days offer just that plus a way to learn about God, study the Bible and be out in the beautiful world that God has given us, discovering it in a new way.  Swimming, boating, hiking, art, and games will be part of this wonderful time.

Fifth and Sixth Grade Camp

For campers finishing the 5th and 6th grades.

Grounded in God’s love, this year you must be ready to help plan the most fun water games imaginable, to venture on your first sailing and picnic excursion, to create group art, to lead Vespers, to play cutting edge Capture the Flag, to who-knows-just-what-else!  On the way, the staff will encourage you to pay close attention to God's creation with morning watch, by hearing scripture, by worshipping together, by singing along with new friends, and by being part of a beautiful place that let's you discover why camp is just not like being at home.  The fun is here!

Junior High / Middle School Camp

For campers finishing the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.

This is a time for campers to experience traditional camp activities and also learn the wonderful love found in a Christian community.  They will have an opportunity to learn and know what is it to be still and seek God.  They will be able to develop new friendships, discover fun in games, learn new songs, study the Bible, and have adventures with others in a beautiful place.  This camp gives them an opportunity to be in a place and a part of a community so different that their lives are changed.
