Mackinac Lodge & Conference Center

The Mackinac Lodge is just the place your church group, organization, office, or family is looking for to host its retreat, workshop, party, reunion, or other type of gathering.

The Mackinac, fashioned as a Finnish ski lodge and built with cedar, is a year-round facility for retreats, conferences, seminars, meetings, and other events. In Michigan's upper peninsula, the center panoramically overlooks Lake Michigamme. The building is barrier-free. There are four sleeping quarters, each 16' x 13', furnished with three Norway pine bunk beds with bookcase headboards, a dresser, a chest of drawers, a desk with chair, reading lamps, and alarm clocks. Floors are carpeted. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and individual heating units. The building accommodates 24 persons. There is a carpeted meeting room, 23' x 31', on ground level to serve 25-30 persons, depending upon the use of tables and chairs. It is equipped with a 25" stereo, color television, a VHS VCR, and an entertainment system that includes an AIWA CD disk player, cassette tape player, and radio/tuner. The meeting room also has comfortable lounge chairs and a fireplace. The conference center has a full service kitchen, 18' x 16', available for renters to prepare meals. For an additional charge, we will provide kitchen staff.
