"There is one body and one Spirit...one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all." --Ephesians 4:4-6
"Spiritlife"
Jesus promises us that God will send the Holy Spirit to be present in our world. He teaches us that through the Spirit, we are forgiven and we are called to forgive others. The Spirit calls us to love as we are loved, gathers us into one community, and sends us out into the world to share the Good News of Jesus. We are being invited to join in this camp community to learn, share and prepare for where the Spirit will lead each of us. Got Spirit?? Get it at the Point...and bring a friend, too!!!
1st – 2nd Grade Camp (Bring your Teddy Bear) *
This 3½ day Mini Camp is designed to give you a taste of the Point. Sharing a cabin with your peers and an adult counselor will introduce you to life long camping experiences. Campers will participate in the Lake Michigamme water safety lessons & buddy swim, play a rousing game of Capture the Flag, help with a service project, create a craft to take home, make s'mores and sing around the campfire, enjoy bedtime stories & talks.
3rd & 4th and 5th & 6th Grade Camps *
School will be over and then the summer of fun and friends will begin. What better place to spend your time than at Presbytery Point! You will have a chance to be with old friends and make new ones as you canoe, swim, compete in the Water Olympics, camp out in a tent at the Outpost Camp, do a service project, hike to the top of beautiful Mt. Baldy and go on a “Bear Hunt" around the campfire. We will read and talk about scriptures that teach us how to care for each other in God's world.
Junior High Camp (7th & 8th Grade) *
Here is the chance to join old friends and bring new ones for a week of growing in faith and fun. We have combined the best of our camp traditions (campfire, Vespers, canoe trips, basketball) with new ones like our version of the Braveheart Capture the Flag game, organic tie dying and green mission projects. Our spiritual walk this week will focus on the joy of being part of God's community and how we can reach out to share this joy with others.
Senior High Camp (9th – 12th Grades) *
What can teenagers expect at their week of camp? Lasting friendships, growing in Christ and in character, water balloon games, inspired devotional time, praise & worship music, small groups, hearty laughter, ultimate Frisbee, sailing, community meal times, lightning basketball, outpost camp picnics, senior vespers…and more! All of us have a place in God's creation and we will do mission projects to reach out to others around the world. Come and seek what He has in store for you at the Point.
